<br/>The West Bengal Government has decided to suspend Special Inspector General of the Eastern Frontier Riffiles Benoy Krishna Chakraborty for violating service rules. The decision was taken following instruction from chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya. <br/><br/>Mr. Chakraborty had publicly blamed the State administration for the recent killing of 24 Jawans at Shilda in West Midnapur District. Covering his face with black cloth, Mr. Chakraborty told news persons at Shaluja Headquaters of the Easter Frontier Riffles in West Midnapur that district Superintendent of Police did not take any action despite specific intelligence inputs on possible Moaist attack at Shilda Camp.<br/><br/>Mr. Chakraborty said that he requested the District Superintendent of Police to shift the Shilda Camp as it was located in a thickly populated place, but the district police did not consider his request. He pointed out that security camps in the district are running in a non professional manner.
