The West Bengal Government has taken up a project to ensure house for all in rural areas of the state by next four years.Under the project ‘Nijo Griho, Nijo Bhumi’ every landless families in the rural areas will be given three Katthas of land for housing purpose. Director of Land Records and Surveys, Tapan Som told AIR that, the Government has fixed a target for construction of one lakh houses under the scheme in the current financial year.
