WB Govt to create new tourist spots

West Bengal State Government is to create new tourist spots in places related to Rabindranath Tagore and Satyajit Roy. In the State Assembly today, Tourism Minister, Mr. Manabendra Mukhopadhyay in reply to a query said this. He said that as a part of the 150th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, places like Mangpu, Kalimpong and Shantineketan would be developed as tourist spots. Besides these, places where eminent film director, Satyajit Roy had shot most of his famous films will also be turned into tourist spots.
