The West Bengal Government on Monday send an enquiry report against the State Finance Minister Dr. Ashim Dasgupta for his alleged violation of Election Commission’s model code of conduct earlier last week.Talking to newspersons in Kolkata on Monday the State Chief Secretary Mr. Samar Ghosh said that, the report prepared by the State Finance Secretary Mr. C.M.Bachawat was passed on to the Election Commission through the office of the Sate Chief Electoral Officer. Dr. Dasgupta has been charged with signing several official files and even issuing instructions after the Election Commission’s model code of conduct came into force on the first of this month. The Chief Secretary however, refused to disclose the contents of the reports send to the Election Commission.
