The West Bengal government has sent the compliance report to the Election Commission on its direction to transfer eight senior district officials of the state.

The Election Commission in its order directed the West Bengal Government yesterday, to send the compliance report to them on the matter by 10.00 a.m. this morning.

Earlier, the Commission turned down the State government plea to reconsider its order siting law and order situation in the respective India's.

Election Commission issued transferred orders to one district Magistrate, 2 Additional District Magistrate and 5 Superintendent of Police for negligence of duty and their partisan approach.
