West Bengal government today had another round of talks with Gorkha Janamukhti Morcha, GJM to finalise the draft agreement on formation of new hill council to give more autonomy to the people of Darjeeling. State Chief Secretary Samar Ghosh met the GJM representatives in Kolkata this afternoon. After the meeting the GJM leader Roshan Giri told that both the parties have reached a consensus to resolve the unsettled issues. Mr. Giri said, the draft memorandum of agreement will be sent to the Centre today itself for an early tripartite meeting to resolve the empasse in Darjeeling hills. The meeting also decided to set up a nine member committee to look into the demand for inclusion of Terai and Dooars region under the jurisdiction of the new hill council. Later, the GJM leader met the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
