West Bengal Government is considering to give compensation to the kin of missing persons in recent trawler mishap near Sagar Island. Giving this information in Kolkata today State Chief Secretary Samar Ghosh said that, 70 passengers of the ill fated trawler are still missing. He said that, giving compensation of 2 lakh rupees to the next of kin of the victims began today. Out of 82 died 49 families have received compensation so far. Meanwhile, 3 members enquiry committee which was set up to probe into the incident has been asked to submit its report to the State Government within a month.
