The West Bengal Governor Mr. Gopal Krishna Gandhi completed his tenure as the head of the state today. Before quitting office, he met veteran Communist leader Mr. Jyoti Basu. A tea party in the evening was organised by the Raj Bhavan. The State Chief Minister Mr. Budadeb Bhattacharjee and the Union Railway Minsiter Ms Mamta Bannerjee attended the meet.
