In West Bengal, a District Court in North 24 Pargana today granted bail to the ASIAD Award Winner Athelete, Pinky Pramanik. Pinky was remanded to jail custody on rape charges. Police arrested the Athelete on 14th of last month following a complaint of a woman that Pinky is actually a man who had raped her. Meanwhile, the Medical Board which was formed to determine the sex of Pinky will submit its report to the District Court at Barasat in North 24 Pargana soon.
