WB Congress asks Governor to call all party meet to end political violence

The West Bengal Congress has urged the state Governor Mr. M. K. Narayanan to call an all party meeting to end political violence in the State. The State Congress President Mr. Manas Bhuiya met the Governor in Kokakta today and urged him to take steps in this regard to ensure peace. Mr. Bhuiya said that as a constitutional head of the state the Governor should call an all party meeting involving the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police of the of the trouble torn districts. The State Congress Chief alleged that violence is taking place at different parts of the State following instigation of Chief Minister Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharjee.
