WB CM Mamata leads protest march against demonetisation move

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, along with leaders of National Conference, AAP and Shiv Sena, today led a march to Rashtrapati Bhavan from Parliament, protesting against the Centre's move to demonetise high value currency notes. <br/><br/>Speaking to media after submitting a memorandum to the President seeking reversal of the move, Ms. Banerjee requested the President to speak to Government and decide on the issue. <br/><br/>She said the situation arising out of demonitisation has triggered a sort of constitutional crisis. Expressing concern over the problems being faced by the people she said, the delegation requested the President to speak to the government and decide on this issue. Ms Banerjee said, her party will move adjournment motion in Lok Sabha.<br/><br/>Besides her, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah, AAP's Bhagwant Mann and Chandrakant Khaire and Gajanan Kirtikar of Shiv Sena participated in the march.
