The West Bengal Chief Minister, Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharjee has instructed all District Administrations to ensure peace cutting across any political affiliation. Mr. Bhattacharjee had a high level meeting with all District Administrations in Kolkata today to review developmental works in the State. Mr. Bhattacharjee advised the District Magistrates to expedite developmental work in a time bound manner. Later, The State Finance Minister, Dr. Asim Dasgupta told newsmen that the State Government is currently carrying out different welfare programmes for poor and weaker section with an investment of ten thousand crore rupees. The meeting discussed the progress of implementation of such schemes. Dr. Dasgupta said that about thirty lakhs people will be benefited by the welfare measures being undertaken by the State Government.<br/>
