In West Bengal, ruling Trinamul Congress has won in the four Municipalities while Left Front retained the power in one and Congress in one Notified Area Authority. The counting of votes in five Municipalities and one Notified Area Authority were taken up this morning. Our Kolkata correspondent reports that the ruling Trinamul Congress has bagged the Durgapur and Dhupguri Municipalities from the Left Front while retained in power at Panskura and Nalhati. The Left Front retained Haldia Municipality and Congress once again won in Coopers Camp Notified Area Authority. The elections in this civic body was held on last Sunday.
