West Bengal today celebrates Saraswati Puja with traditional fervour. The idol of Saraswati- Goddess of learning- is being worshipped in every house hold and particularly in educational institutions. Schools and colleges have been tastefully decorated. Special musical sessions have also been organised in different parts of Kolkata and elsewhere to celebrate the day.
