The West Bengal Assembly has been adjourned till the 10th of December. The adjournment comes due to an unprecedented situation of the failure of the newly installed micro-phone and sound systems. The Speaker, Mr. Hasim Abdul Halim adjourned the House after being told by the Public Works Department (PWD) the repairing of the system would take nine days. This incident comes as a major embarrassment for the State Government which has plans to discuss and pass some important Bills and Legislations during this session.
