The West Bengal Assembly adjourned for the day today after making obituary references. As soon as the house assembled the speaker Mr. Biman Bandyopadhyay read out the condolence messages for those who died during the inter session period. They include former Minister Mr. Nandagopal Bhattacharjee, former legislator Kashenath Mishra, Sontosh Kumar Roy, noted actor Mohit Chottopadhyay, Ghazal Maestro Ustad Mahendi Hassan, Singer Chobi Bandyopadhyay and others. The members also observed two minutes silence in respect of departed souls.
