The West Bengal Government has announced 17 percent reservations of jobs for Other Backward classes. Announcing this in Kolkata this evening State Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee said that the Government has decided to increase the reservation in Government jobs from 7 percent to 17 percent by amending the present act and this will come into effect from Friday.He said his Government is considering reservations for OBC’s in education sector also.
