<span style="color: black;">The water logging reported day before yesterday and yesterday on the approach road to Bengaluru international airport has subsided now. The airport area had reported heaviest downpour of 178 mm on the intervening night of October 11th and 12th causing water logging in part of kerb side of Kempegowda International airport.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The cabs ferrying passengers to the airport had difficulty in steering the vehicle over the flooded road outside the airport area. The airport authority sources told AIR News that the sudden high intensity rain that caused water logging was for a short duration.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">A team was pressed into action and the issue was resolved. The airport authority release issued yesterday says that 20 departing flights between 17.30 hrs and 23.59 hours on October 11th were delayed due to the weather conditions and low visibility. There after the flights have resumed normal operations. The airport area had received the highest of 86 mm rainfall in May of 2017. Hence the rainfall reported on October 11th was the record highest.</span>
