Water level in Yamuna river expected to rise marginally

The water level in river Yamuna is expected to rise marginally with 3.3 lakh cusecs of water released from Hatnikund barrage expected to reach the river by tomorrow. The river is currently flowing at 206.12 meters 1.29 meters above the danger mark. The water level may increase to 206.20 meters. However people shifted to relief camps from the low lying areas will start moving back to their homes only after the water level in the river comes below the 205 meter mark. There has also been some respite from the incessant rain which lashed Delhi and its neighbouring areas in the past few days.
