More than two lakh Qusec water has been released from Hathnikund Dam reservoir in Yamuna today which may lift the water levels in Delhi by next 72 hours. In past 24 hours, MET department has recorded 14 mm of rainfall in National Capital Region which has risen the water level of the river by 6 centimetres now flowing at 205.08 metres. The weathermen have predicted a cloudy sky with more thundershowers in next 24 hours which can create an alarming situation in coming days. However the state government has said that there is no need to panic and adequate measures have been taken.
