The international charity, Water Aid, has criticised world leaders for failing to live up to their promises to ensure the world's poor get access to clean water. The report comes two weeks before the Heads of State meet at the UN to review eight millennium development goals. At the current rate of progress, the 2015 targets to halve the proportion of people living without sanitation will not be met globally until 2049.
