Warship INS Vindhyagiri has reached the bottom of the sea following damages by a massive fire that broke out after collision a merchant vessel. A Navy spokesperson said in New Delhi that further efforts are on to retrieve the ship. In New Delhi, Defence Ministry officials were in consultation to coordinate the effort. A Navy spokesperson said in New Delhi that INS Vindhyagiri was brought to the naval dockyard for assessing the damage after she collided with the container vessel MV Nordlake last evening off Mumbai Harbour. According to official sources, no casulty has been reported so far. Details are awaited.
