Warship INS Betwa restored to upright position: Navy

Indian Navy's frigate INS Betwa has been restored to an upright position; more than two months after it had slipped off her dock blocks at Mumbai's Naval Dockyard. <br/><br/>A Defence Press Release has informed that, salvage operations by Naval Dockyard and salvage firm M/s Resolve Marine progressed on a war footing and were completed on Wednesday. <br/><br/>Navy has informed that the ship has been floated and will be moved to another drydock for further repairs. It adds that the ship will be made fully operational after her scheduled refit is completed by April 2018. INS Betwa, a Brahmaputra -class guided missile frigate had tipped over at Mumbai's Naval Dockyard in December last year killing two jawans.<br/>
