Wanted Naxalite Vishal ji alias Tulsi has been killed in an encounter at Limbatoli under Arki police station of Khunti district of Jharkhand in the early hours of today.

Our Ranchi correspondent reports that the killed naxal was wanted in 22 different cases and was carrying a reward of rupees 3 lakh on his head. The police has recovered one AK 47 rifle,150 live rounds of bullets and 70 rounds of used bullets.

The Chief Secretary of Jharkhand has announced a reward of two lakh rupees to the participating team of Cobra battalion of CRPF and District police. State BJP has also announced a similar reward.

In another unrelated incident a PLFI (People Libration Front of India) naxal, Panda Munda has surrendered before the administration in Khunti district. He was wanted in 23 different cases.
