Wall Street ends higher as S&P snaps losing streak

Wall Street entered positive territory on Wednesday, with the S&P 500 snapping a four-session losing streak, as investors grappled with how interest rate policy might affect the U.S. economy.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.3 percent, the S&P 500 rose half a percent and the Nasdaq Composite index added 0.7 percent.
