Wall Street: All three major indices advanced to fresh record highs

On Wall Street, all three major indices advanced to fresh record highs on Monday, led by gains in commodity-linked shares as crude oil prices reached a one-month high. So the Dow Jones industrial average gained 60 points or 0.3 percent, to close at 18,636. The Standard & Poor's 500 index climbed 6 points, or 0.3 percent, to 2,190. And the Nasdaq composite rose 29 points, or 0.6 percent, to 5,262. All three major indices ended at record highs Monday, led by gains in commodity-linked shares as crude oil prices reached a one-month high.
