In Chhattisgarh, at least 13 persons were killed and 12 injured when a wall collapsed on them on Tuesday. According to police sources, the victims had taken shelter from heavy rain under a shed adjoining the boundary of the residence of the S.P of Sarguja, when the wall collapsed. Those standing near the wall were trapped under the debris. The injured have since been admitted to the hospital in Ambikapur. AIR correspondent reports that the condition of some of them is stated to be critical.
