Labour and Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today said job, wages and social security for the labourers are the priority areas for the government. <br/><br/>Congratulating the workforce on the occasion of International Labour Day in New Delhi, Mr Dattatreya said, One Insured person (IP) – Two Dispensaries scheme launched by his ministry aims to address the issue of health care needs of the migrant workers and their families. He further added, with the aim of achieving a uniform minimum wage, the ministry is bringing amendments to several labour laws of the country. <br/>'<br/>AIR correspondent reports, One IP Two Dispensaries is a welcome initiative which addresses migrant worker's family health needs specially when the worker is working outside his state. Earlier a similar scheme provided health from One dispensary only. <br/><br/>As per the scheme a worker can avail health care through two dispensaries in two different states, one where he is working and the other where his family resides.
