West Bengal Transport Minister Ranjeet Kundu had a meeting with Bus, Mini-Bus and Taxi operators in Kolkata today. The discussions mainly focused on the proposed transports strike on the 10th, 11th and 12th of this month. It is learnt that Kundu had requested the transporters not to carry out their strike. It may be mentioned that the transporters are demanding a hike in fares following the increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene and cooking gas.
