The West Bengal Government has decided to set up a State Agricultural Marketing Corporation to stop distress sale of agri-products by the farmers. The State Cabinet chaired by the Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee took the decision in Kolkata on Monday.Later, briefing newsmen the State Industry Minister Mr. Partha Chatterjee said that the decision has been taken to ensure that the farmers get proper prices of their products. The State Cabinet also decided to open 20 training camps in Jungle Mahal to train youths for jobs in police force. Earlier, the Chief Minister announced 10 thousand jobs in police to the Youths of Jungle Mahal, to bring them into the main stream.
