The West Bengal Home Secretary, Mr. Ardhendu Sen had said that a new combat force would be raised soon to tackle the Maoist problem in the State. Talking to newspersons in Kolkata Mr. Sen said that the recruitment process will start within two to three months and the entire process would completed within a year. <br/><br/>He said the training will be imparted to this force by the BSF, army and the CRPF. He said the force will be under and IG rank officer. Mr. Sen said that the Union Finance Ministry has already granted two crore rupees for the purpose and twenty-five crore rupees more would be granted in a phased manner.
