West Bengal State Governor M. K. Narayanan has made a special appeal to the Student community in the State to eschew violence in the Campus. He was speaking at the convocation ceremony of the Jadavpur University in Kolkata this evening. Expressing anguish at several clashes on Campus in the State, Narayanan said that an atmosphere of bonhomie should be present in all educational institutions among students. He said it would be unfortunate if police had to go into institutions to maintain law an order.
