West Bengal government has decided to set up an all women police station in each sub-division of the state. Giving this information in Kolkata last evening, the Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee said that 20 such police stations will be set up soon in the first phase out of the 65 sub-divisions. Ms. Banerjee said that 1,100 police-women will be recruited for this purpose.
