W Bengal: 7 more COVID-19 deaths take toll to 68; stranded labourers start coming back

<span style="color: #222222;">In West Bengal another 7 persons died of Corona infections in the State in last 24 hours taking the death toll to 68.<br />'' <br />'' Giving this information in Kolkata Tuesday afternoon the State Home Secretary, Mr. Alapan Bandyopadhyay said that another 85 persons were tested positive of Corona Virus during the period.<br />'' <br />'' Altogether 940 Corona positive patients are under treatment at different hospitals while 264 were discharged after recovery as of now.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, stranded labourers have started coming back. AIR Correspondent reports, a special train carrying around 1200 hundred migrant labourers has reached to the State from Ajmer Sharif of Rajasthan.<br />'' <br />'' Another train from Kerala will also bring such people to State tomorrow.<br />'' <br />'' The State Government has taken initiatives to bring back people from neighboring Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand and Sikkim by buses.<br />'' <br />'' The 3rd phase of lockdown is being maintained in the State with relaxations announced by the Central and State Government.<br />'' <br />'' Over 516 containment zones are in place to fight against COVID-19 at different Districts of the State of which maximum 318 are in Kolkata.<br />'' <br />'' The State Government has suspended 64 Ration dealers and issued show cause notices to 359 dealers and imposed penalties against 25 of them for irregularities on supply of food items through public distribution system.<br />'' <br />''The State level Bankers Committee has decided to enhance their borrowing limits for post Corona infrastructural development in West Bengal. </span>
