Congress leader Ms. Girija Vyas today asserted that it is the duty of every political party to ensure smooth functioning of Parliament.

Talking to reporters outside Parliament she said that there are many legislations of public concern which need to be passed.

She said that the cooperation of the opposition is important for the passage of such important bills like Lokpal Bill.

She alleged that whenever floor is provided to opposition for discussion, they do not avail it.
