Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari has emphasized upon quality, credible and accurate data collection for formulation of policies and schemes in the country better way.<br/><br/>Addressing an international conference on Social Statistics at Patna today, Mr. Ansari said that all is not well in the Indian Social Statistics sector. <br/><br/>He said concerns have been raised about the quality of data being generated and duplication of efforts to collect statistics across various government departments. <br/><br/>The Vice President also underlined the importance of large scale data collections exercise like census of India and national health survey which opens avenues of different information on population demography, and health related statistics.
