Vice President M. Hamid Ansari today released a book namely Modern Thought Leaders- Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial Lectures (1997-2014). The book is the collection of memorial lectures that are organised every year on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. <br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ansari said, life of Lal Bahadur Shastri was dedicated to public service and he is a person of great integrity and competence. Mr Ansari said, he was a leader of the people who understood their language and was also a man of vision who led the country towards progress.
