<span style="color: #222222;">Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu said that the intellectual tradition of India helped the country to sustain fundamental unity despite its diversities. The Vice President was delivering an address at P. Parameswaran Memorial Lecture organized by Bhartheeya Vichara Kendram at Thiruvananthapuram this evening. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">P.Parameswaran was a role model and a multifaceted personality who worked relentlessly to carry forward his nationalistic mission, said the Vice President. His teachings are an inspiration to young generations. The Vice President also said that Kerala has a rich legacy of great intellectuals who brought about cultural awakening and spiritual regeneration. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Vice President also remembered the intellectual contributions of Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya and Sri Narayana Guru at his address. He appealed to adopt a 'nation first' approach irrespective of the differences in caste, creed and religion. The Vice President also urged to follow traditional food habits and to maintain physical fitness. Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, Union Minister of State for External Affairs V.Muraleedharan and O. Rajagopal MLA were among the dignitaries attending the event.</span><br />''
