In Indonesia, the Bali airport continues to remain closed due to volcanic eruptions on Mount Rinjani on the nearby island of Lombok. Vice President Md Hamid Ansari was rescheduled to leave Bali for Brunei this morning, but the unexpected closure of the airport has forced alterations of the plans. <br/><br/>Officials said that the present situation, has put a strong question mark on the Brunei visit, which might have to be cancelled, keeping in view the circumstances. Md Ansari is on a five day visit to Indonesia and Brunei.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the Ngurah Rai airport in Bali is one of the busiest airports in Indonesia. Airport authorities have said that the situation will be re-evaluated in the afternoon. According to Indonesia's meteorological agency, Mount Rinjani has been spewing ash since last weekend.<br/><br/> The airport was closed on Tuesday and thousands of travelers, including many Indians, are stranded in Bali. The closure of the airports have affected hundreds of international and domestic flights.
