In Gujarat, polling for the by-election of Kathalal Assembly constituency in Kheda district is on under tight security arrangement. Total 5 candidates are in fray in which main contest is likely between Congress and BJP. The by-election is held following death of Congress sitting MLA. AIR Ahmedabad Correspondent reports, about 1 lac 65 thousand voters are eligible to use their franchise. 116 polling booths have been set up out of which 23 are declared as sensitive. About 2 thousand police men and eitht teams of para-military forces have been deploy to maintain law and order situation. Counting of votes will be held on Thursday at district headquarter Nadiad.
