In West Bengal, a total of 45 seats in the newly formed Gorkhaland territory administration, GTA, election to 17 seats was held today under heavy security. Out of 45 GTA seats of Gorkha Janamukti Morcha candidates were already declared elected in 28 seats. The polling ended peacefully today. Recalled the other political parties in Darjeeling hills did not filled their candidate or withdrew from election arena.
