In Tripura, voting is on peacefully for the 60 member Assembly poll. Official sources said that 19 percent voting has been reported during the first hour of poll. All EVMs are functioning effectively. A total of 3 thousand 606 EVMs including standby are being used in the polling process which started in 3041 polling booths in all eight districts. People from all walks of life are queuing up to exercise their franchise in polling booths including in capital Agartala. A total of 249 candidates including 12 women are in fray. Proper security arrangement have been made.
