Voting is in progress in Chhattisgarh for the election of 13 municipal bodies. These include the Municipal Corporation, Villai in the Durg district. A total of 1411 candidates are trying their luck in today’s elections. Peaceful voting has been reported from all these places scattered over 10 districts at the time of filing this story. The counting of votes will take place on coming Friday. As per the State Election Commission, voting to the lone municipal council, Baikunthpur in the Koriya district will take place on Thursday
