Polling for the assembly elections in Rajasthan has been completed peacefully except for some sporadic incidents. Voting was held today on 199 seats out of a total of 200 seats in the state. There are reports of about 69 per cent voting till 6 in the evening, although the final figures are yet to come. Voters who entered the polling booth during the scheduled time of 6 pm were allowed to cast their votes even later. More than 81 per cent voting took place in Pokhran of Jaisalmer and more than 80 per cent voting took place in Tijara of Alwar district.&nbsp; Around 57 per cent lowest voter turnout was recorded in Marwar Junction. A lot of enthusiasm has been witnessed among the voters from early morning till the last moments of voting. The voters were seen standing in queues waiting for their turn. A 103-year-old woman expressed her faith in democracy by casting her vote at the Damadi booth of the Aspur assembly seat in Dungarpur, while a 101-year-old woman used her franchise at polling booth 162 of the Begun assembly seat in Chittorgarh.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''There have been reports of tension, clashes and stone-pelting incidents at several places including Fatehpur in Sikar, Taranagar in Churu and Bari in Dholpur. Bharatiya Janata Party submitted a memorandum to the Chief Electoral Officer and lodged a complaint against the administration for deliberately slowing down the voting process. With the end of voting, the work of transporting EVMs and VVPAT machines from the polling stations to the strong rooms at the counting centres of the districts has also started. Counting of voting will take place on the 3rd of December.
