Voting has ended in Bolvia's regional elections widely seen as a crucial test for President Evo Morales, as he tries to stamp his authority on the country's local administration. For the first time, Bolvians were able to vote directly for a state governor. President Morales, who wants to redistribute natural resources and land in favour of Bolvia's indiginious people needs to win most of the states. Opposition governors have so far blocked his reform plans.
