Senior BJP leader Prakash Javadekar has said that first time people have voted for progress not on the basis of caste, creed or religion. On the sidelines of the national executive meeting in Bhubaneswar Mr Javadekar accused congress of vote-bank politics on granting constitutional status to OBC Commission. <br/><br/>He said, congress did not work for the backward people, farmers and poor and used them as vote-bank. He also said that opposition did not supported fight against black money and demonetisation, but people showed their support. <br/><br/>Mr. Javadekar Said the Modi Government has done a great job by meeting the demand for constitutional status to OBC Commission pending for 25 years. He said Modi Government is of poor and working to provide justice to the villages, farmers, laborers and disadvantaged.<br/><br/>Mr. Javadekar said the poor poll plank that the Congress had during Indira Gandhi's time has shifted to the BJP. He said this is the first government after Independence which has taken meaningful steps and Modi government has fought the most against corruption. <br/><br/>BJP won Uttar Pradesh on the issue of development and we will stick to this issue, he added.
