Volcanic ash clouds from Icelandic Volcano dirupt air services again

In Europe, two of the busiest airports closed early Monday morning as dense plumes of volcanic ash from Iceland disrupted flight operations. Britain's National Air Traffic Service said that, the airspace over London's Heathrow Airport was closed at 1 am local time (0530 IST). <br/> <br/>In Amsterdam, the Schiphol Airport, has been closed until 2 pm local time on Monday. <br/> <br/>Aviation authorities said, restrictions affecting the airports in Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and London City will be in place until at least 7 am local time or 1130 IST, on Monday. <br/> <br/>Airports across Britain and Ireland were closed on Sunday because of the drifting ash, however airports in northern England including the key cities of Manchester and Liverpool are expected to reopen after 1 a m local time. <br/> <br/>All airports in Northern Ireland, as well as some Scottish facilities, will remain shut. In Ireland, the Dublin's international airport had closed last evening until at least 12 p m on Monday (1630 IST). <br/> <br/>The British air traffic agency said the ash cloud was changing shape and moving south, toward Oxford in England, 100 kilometres northwest of London. Britain's weather service says the northwest winds should shift midweek, redirecting the ash away from Britain. <br/> <br/>The Iceland's Eyjafjallajokul volcano had erupted on 14th April throwing up Volcanic Ash that could clog the jet engines that led to disruption of flight operations across the world.<br/> <br/>
