Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his Mann Ki Baat last month had urged people to buy local products in the festive season. He said, people should remember that shopping means Vocal For Local. Mr Modi said, if people buy local, then their festival will also be illuminated and the house of a poor, an artisan or a weaver will also be lit up. He expressed confidence that the campaign which has been started together with people will be stronger this time during the festivals. Mr Modi asked people to share on social media about the local products they buy and inform it to people around them.</span><br />
