'Vivad se Vishwas' programme would increase trust of taxpayers: R K Paliwal

Principal Chief Income Tax Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, R K Paliwal said that the 'Vivad se Vishwas' programme would increase the trust of taxpayers and reduce the number of disputes between the Income Tax Department and taxpayers. There are 36 thousand tax disputes pending in both the states while 2050 cases have been filed under the 'Vivad se Vishwas' scheme so far. The programme was organized in a virtual manner by the Press Information Bureau, Bhopal and Income Tax Department.</span><br />
