World Champion Viswanathan Anand registered an easy draw against World number one Magnus Carlsen of Norway in the seventh round of group 'A' of 73rd Tata Steel Chess tournament at Wijk Aan Zee, The Netherlands. Despite Anand taking his tally to five points out of a possible seven, Hikaru Nakamura of United States edged past him the half way stage with a victory over Jan Smeets of Holland. Nakamura is well in front on 5.5 points, a half point ahead of Anand. The game of the day was awarded to Nakamura for his exemplary effort against Smeets.
